Blue4Green Service

Resilience Analysis

We provide timely insights into the vitality, growth and vegetation period of urban green spaces. This enables cities to identify which green structures remain resilient even under adverse weather conditions and use these insights for maintenance, adaptation and the planning of new green spaces.

Overview

Resilience

This service delivers high-resolution, time-sensitive insights into vegetation condition and dynamics for selected green areas. It includes three key products: Plant Vigor, Plant Growth Condition, and Number of Green Days per Year, along with monthly relative maps of leaf chlorophyll and leaf area index (LAI).

With Plant Vigor, users can evaluate how current vegetation health compares with its long-term condition from 2020 to today. Plant Growth Condition reveals how rapidly plants are developing throughout the year by tracking daily changes in leaf chlorophyll. Number of Green Days captures the length of the growing period, from plant emergence to senescence using LAI.

All outputs are available for download in GeoTIFF and PNG formats once processing is complete. Powered by PlanetScope imagery, the service benefits from high temporal frequency, enabling near-continuous monitoring of vegetation status over time.
