Urban Green Tracker
The Urban Green Tracker supports municipalities in monitoring urban green spaces and tree canopy cover in the context of the EU Nature Restoration Regulation. Based on multitemporal Sentinel-2 data, changes in urban greenery are detected and losses of urban green space are documented.
The results help municipalities assess developments over time, identify the need for action at an early stage and plan measures to preserve and expand urban green structures more effectively.
